There are many misconceptions on golf travel to Scotland and Ireland.
Many tour operators emphasize on their websites the fact that they have multiple offices, lots of staff, and a fleet of travel coaches. One of the biggest myths of Scotland/Ireland touring is that it takes HUGE staffing to plan and stage this event. Who do you think foots the bill for this entire overhead? The paying customer! The interesting thought is this: how much warehouse space is required to store a pair of tee times for eight golfers at Turnberry?
To do this, one does not need a large organization. Rather, the secret lies in having the right people in the right places. Our personal experiences and our local drivers will put you in the right places at the right time for a reasonable price.

(They say “Our price doesn’t change once you finalize a trip”). The reality is that the exchange rate is constantly in motion and has been moving up the past few years. The only way a tour operator can make this offer is to factor the worst-case exchange rate for the customer.
A trip to Scotland is a once in a lifetime journey that you should be prepared to spend a king’s ransom for.
Our trips are often $1000 to $2400 less than our competitors (apples to apples)? How is this possible? Very simple! Lower overhead, efficiency in trip planning, and offering the little extras allow us to produce the same wonderful product for significant savings. A trip to the Home of Golf should not be a once in a lifetime experience because of cost. It is our belief that this trip should be experienced more than once. It is more important for us to develop relationships with customers than to make maximum profit from each sale.
My professional background is manufacturing engineering. It is tough competing in manufacturing today against overseas competition. You have to manage against any unnecessary expenses/overhead; you have to be efficient, and you have to offer little extras to make the customer happy. Booking a golf trip is very similar in concept. It is tough competing against the many different tour operators. It is a simple matter of having a better product, better customer service, and better price.
